TECOBI, LLC, referred to as “TECOBI,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” provides communication technology and related services to businesses, including automotive dealerships and other participating businesses.
In many cases, TECOBI processes personal information on behalf of our clients. In those situations, the TECOBI client is responsible for determining why and how your personal information is collected and used, and TECOBI acts as a service provider, processor, or vendor supporting that client.

TECOBI may use artificial intelligence, automation, and related technologies to help create, select, personalize, summarize, analyze, classify, schedule, route, or respond to communications.
Some communications may be AI-assisted or AI-generated. Some communications may be reviewed, approved, edited, or sent by a human representative. AI-assisted communications may be used to help answer questions, provide follow-up, support scheduling, identify customer intent, summarize conversations, and improve customer communication workflows.
AI-assisted communications should not be treated as final legal, financial, credit, insurance, tax, or binding purchase advice. You may request human assistance at any time by replying to a message, asking for a human representative, calling the business contacting you, or contacting TECOBI.
TECOBI may use communication data, system activity, and performance information to operate, monitor, test, secure, and improve AI-assisted features, subject to our agreements with clients and applicable law.
5. How We Share Information
We may disclose personal information in the following situations:
- TECOBI Clients. We may share information with the TECOBI client on whose behalf we process the information, such as the dealership or business that contacted you or requested that we provide services.
- Service Providers and Vendors. We may share information with service providers and vendors that help us operate our business and provide our services, including hosting providers, communication providers, email providers, analytics providers, payment processors, security providers, support tools, and infrastructure providers.
- Messaging, Email, and Carrier Providers. We may share information with telecommunications carriers, messaging providers, email providers, and related service providers as needed to send, receive, deliver, monitor, secure, and support communications.
- Client-Directed Integrations. We may share information with third-party platforms, systems, or providers that our clients choose to connect to TECOBI, such as CRM systems, DMS systems, advertising platforms, lead providers, analytics tools, or other business systems.
- Business Administration. We may share information with professional advisors, accountants, auditors, banks, insurers, and legal advisors as needed for business administration, compliance, and risk management.
- Legal and Safety Purposes. We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, regulation, subpoena, court order, legal process, carrier requirement, industry requirement, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of TECOBI, our clients, consumers, users, employees, or others.
- Business Transfers. We may disclose or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar business transaction, including during negotiations.
- With Consent or Direction. We may disclose information when you consent to or direct the disclosure.
6. Mobile Information and Text Messaging Data
Mobile information protection: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Information may be shared with service providers, subcontractors, messaging providers, carriers, and support vendors only as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, support, or improve TECOBI services, process communications, manage opt-ins and opt-outs, maintain consent records, prevent abuse, comply with legal or carrier requirements, or fulfill the purpose for which the information was provided.
TECOBI does not sell text messaging opt-in data, mobile numbers, or text messaging consent records.
7. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies
We may use cookies, pixels, tags, server logs, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate our websites, remember preferences, understand website traffic, improve user experience, detect fraud, and measure marketing performance.
Some third-party analytics or advertising tools may collect information about your activity over time and across different websites. Depending on applicable law, this may be considered targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, sharing, or a sale of personal information.
TECOBI does not sell personal information for money. TECOBI does not share mobile opt-in data, text messaging consent records, or text message originator opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings. If required by applicable law, we will provide additional tools or methods to opt out of certain targeted advertising or sharing activities.
8. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Text Message Choices
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying with any of the following keywords:
STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, or OPT OUT
You may also use any other clear statement that reasonably communicates that you do not want to receive further text messages.
After you opt out, you may receive one final non-marketing message confirming your opt-out request. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP to the number that sent you the message.
Email Choices
You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link included in a marketing email, replying with an unsubscribe request where available, contacting the business that emailed you, or contacting TECOBI.
Opting out of marketing emails may not stop transactional or relationship emails, such as account notices, appointment confirmations, service-related communications, requested information, or legally required notices.
Phone Call Choices
You may ask not to receive phone calls by telling the caller, using any automated opt-out method provided, contacting the business that called you, or contacting TECOBI.
Account Choices
If you have a TECOBI account, you may be able to access, update, or correct certain account information by logging into your account or contacting us.
State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and how you interact with TECOBI, you may have certain privacy rights under applicable state privacy laws. These rights may include the right to:
- Request access to personal information we maintain about you
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of personal information
- Request a copy of personal information in a portable format
- Opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling, where applicable

We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights available under applicable law.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, operate our business, maintain records, comply with legal, regulatory, carrier, contractual, accounting, tax, security, and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain consent, opt-out, suppression, and communication preference records.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the nature of our relationship with you or our client, legal requirements, client instructions, and operational needs.
10. How We Protect Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
No method of transmission over the internet, mobile networks, or electronic storage is fully secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of personal information. In the event we are required by law to notify you of a security incident, we may notify you electronically, in writing, by telephone, or by other legally permitted methods.
If you have a TECOBI account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity under your account. You should notify us immediately if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.
11. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our websites and services may contain links to websites, platforms, applications, or services that we do not own or operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party websites or services. You should review the privacy policies of any third-party website or service you use.
12. Children’s Privacy
TECOBI’s websites and services are not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to TECOBI, please contact us at privacy@tecobi.com.

The Effective Date at the top of this Privacy Policy shows when the current version became effective.
